Frequently asked questions about web design
Straight answers on pricing, timelines and what it's like to work with a local web design team. Still unsure? Call or send us a message.

General
How much does a website cost?
It depends on the number of pages and features. Our packages start in the ranges shown on the home page; you'll get an exact, written price after a free consultation — before any work begins.
Are domain, hosting and third-party costs included?
Building-credit costs are included in every package. Domain registration, paid apps and other third-party subscriptions (for example a booking or email platform) are billed separately unless we state otherwise in your quote.
Will I own my website?
Yes. You own your domain, your content and your website. Nothing is held hostage.
Will it work on mobile devices?
Every site we build is designed mobile-first and tested on phones, tablets and desktops before launch.
Can you redesign my current website?
Absolutely. Redesigns are one of our most common projects — we can keep what works and rebuild the rest.
Do you provide maintenance?
Yes. Ongoing maintenance covering updates, backups, security and small content changes is available after launch.
What information do you need to begin?
Your services, service area, contact details, any photos or logo files you have, and examples of sites you like. We'll guide you through the rest.
Deposit & timeline
How long does it take?
Most small-business sites take a few weeks depending on scope and how quickly content and photos come back from you. We confirm your timeline in the project plan.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. A 50% deposit reserves your build slot and starts the design work, and the remaining 50% is due before your website goes live. The exact amounts are written into your project plan before anything is charged.
When exactly do I pay, and how?
Nothing is due when you request a quote. Once you approve your written quote, you pay the 50% deposit online by card to lock in your start date — $250 on Starter Site, $475 on Growth Site, $1,000 on Custom Web App and $1,100 on Online Store. The final 50% is invoiced when your site is approved and ready to publish.
What does the 50% deposit cover, and is it refundable?
The deposit reserves your spot in our build schedule and covers the discovery, design and initial build work, including the building-credit costs bundled into every package. Because that work starts right away, deposits aren't refundable once design begins — but if you cancel before we start, we'll refund it in full.
Revisions
How many revision rounds do I get?
Starter Site includes 2 revision rounds, Growth Site 3 and Custom Web App 4. Online Store revisions are scoped per project. A revision round is one consolidated set of changes you send back after reviewing a draft.
What if I need more revisions than my package includes?
Extra revision rounds are $50 each and can be added at any point — we'll always tell you before a change falls outside your included rounds, never after.
Booking
Can customers book appointments through my site?
Yes. Booking and appointment integration with a real database is included in the Growth Site and Custom Web App packages. We connect it to your calendar so requests land where you already work.
Online ordering
Can I sell products or take online orders?
Yes. The Online Store package (starting at $2,200) includes a shopping cart, checkout, Stripe payment processing, inventory setup, order notifications and basic store training. If you only need payments on a regular site, payment integration is a $200 add-on.
Do I pay extra transaction fees on online orders?
We don't charge a per-order fee. Your payment processor (such as Stripe) charges its own standard card processing rate, billed directly to you — we'll set the account up in your name so the money goes straight to you.
